*RESULTS* North Yorkshire Judo Festival 2017

Amazing results for knaresboroughs judo players, Luke,Oliver,Nancy,Joe and Thomas all entered the event and apart from Nancy and Joe it was there FIRST ever contest. The contest was one of the best organised events i’ve seen for this level. This event only gave a gold medal out to the winner and all the other players received a fantastic Certificate. All the players gave 100%, once a few referees realised it was there first event came over to our players to congratulate them on the way they conducted themselves on and off the mat. There Etiquette and respect was particularly commented on. Its fair to say some of our players had Monsters in there group haha, All the players walked onto the mat with confident and fear of the unknown but after the first contest were keen to have another. Look at the pictures and see some of the skills displayed and hopefully the next contest could see some more of you guys taking part. Huge thank you to the parents who supported the club and youngsters i hope you had a good day. We can tell you it was Gold for Joe Silver for Thomas and bronzes for Luke,Oliver and Nancy. It was an early finish 12 noon but i stayed behind to help referee and see some great judo from the older youngsters and senior Men and Women. contest finished at 4pm. Huge Thank you to Dermot Heslop 7th Dan for an amazingly well run

event, see you next year with even more players!
